Standing on the high plains of Western Kansas, Ackerman Farms features multiple parcels which straddle both sides of I-70. The ranch also represents two game management units. 

The farm's 1,200 acres consist of mostly draws through farm fields and fence lines with shelterbelts scattered throughout.

Lodging is not yet offered on the property; however, the property is just south of Brewster, which is conveniently located right in the middle of Goodland and Colby. Lodging, grocery stores, and local restaurants can all be found in both towns.
