My family and I have been Kansas farmers for five generations and are excited to open these 80 acres for birding. We recently bought this plot of land, but have owned most of the property around it for decades. We are long-time family farmers and dabble in various crops and raising cows. The property consists of cattle-grazing grasslands as well as fields of wheat, milo, corn and alfalfa. We are proud that the land has been in a CRP for over 30 years and want to continue to respect the beauty, serenity and bustling wildlife the land has to offer.
Seemingly located in the middle of nowhere with no disruptions while only being 15 miles northeast from Bucklin, KS and 30 miles east of Dodge City, both of which provide reasonable lodging arrangements. In order to truly appreciate all that the property has to offer, we prefer sportsmen book for at least a week. This way they can learn the lay of the land and have a high-quality experience.
