My expectations were far exceeded with this property. Booked it for 2 days and killed my turkey by 7:30 the first morning. Didn’t bother to hunt the 2nd day as I wasn’t trying to be greedy. I heard at least 4-5 more turkeys gobbling in the short time I was there. It sounded like 3-4 of them were roosting on the neighboring property but were coming to the pastures that I was allowed to hunt. After I got my turkey, while gathering my stuff, I accidentally walked up on another longbeard in the same pasture I was in. While walking back to the truck, I walked up on 8-9 more turkeys that were on the road I parked on. There’s no shortage of turkeys on and around this property. Justin was very helpful and has a beautiful property.

Xan was an excellent guest. He had a great hunt and harvested a fantastic bird. After the hunt, he took time to talk with guests coming in after him to discuss strategy. I would love to have him back.

I was very pleased with the property. Unfortunately I could only hunt it 2 days. Both mornings I heard between 3-5 toms and saw toms with hens throughout the morning. Again it's a great piece of property that I would not hesitate to turkey hunt again. Plus, Justin's property has a very healthy deer population for those of you that are looking for a deer hunt I'm glad I found it and I will definitely be returning.

This property is full of Turkeys, on it and around it. The Tom's we're answering my calls all morning. I'd be patient with them answering calls as they would answer after 3-4 minutes on the day I went. The property has lots of open fields and is set up for deer hunting with ~4 blinds on the edges (2 in each field). There's a natural creek running through the middle of the property which is great and quite serene. When you pull in the gate, there's an option to go left or right. You'll eventually run into fields either way you go but the left side has a gate not far from entrance which is where I parked and then I walked the rest. On the right side you'll drive up the cattle channel and see a gate eventually. There aren't many wooded areas on property (small patches) but there are surrounding the property. I'd recommend posting up near a wooded area w/ decoys and calling them to the grassy field. Be careful as this is hilly and the gobbles echo making it hard to decide on distance/location. While on the property, I saw about 7 deer on the left side of the property just after sunrise. Beautiful property, I'll be back! Also, make sure you show up super early prior to sunrise since you may decide to post up in the field, you want to be posted up before Turkeys come down. I showed up with a pop-up blind since you'll be in a field or on edge of wood line. You can also use the pre-built blinds at your disposal, but they are fixed, and I opted to find my own placement. Thank you and see you again soon!
