Slate Mill Farm
This is a great chance to fish the South River on our 80-acre riverfront property. The river is trout stocked by Virginia DWR five times annually between Oct 1 and May 15, at a location less than three miles upstream from our farm. Our farm offers 0.6-miles of river frontage on the South River as well as 0.5-miles of frontage on the small tributary Henshaw Run. The historic Southards Mill (est. 1866) is also located along the river.
Guests are welcome to book multiple days; however, we aren't offering any overnight stays on-site, so you'll have to commute from local hotels or airbnbs for multi-day stays.
