Kenning Farms consists of 520 beautiful acres of prairie, cropland, and woods, in Southeastern Nebraska. Just minutes outside of Hebron, the farm straddles the Little Blue River.
The ground features dense areas of tree cover as well as springs and creeks that run through the property and feed into the Little Blue River.
This is a great location for hunting and bird watching that also features a lot of rich history. Indian artifacts seem to be scattered throughout the property's ground from centuries ago. On the property is also the final resting place of Oklahoma rancher David King Fisher. Guests can visit the gravesite and see the original tombstone.
Camping is permitted on the property; however, local lodging is available in Hebron or Fairbury, which is just a 20-minute drive from the property.
We are very excited to meet you and your group! Welcome to Kenning Farms.
We are always open to new ideas for ways that people can enjoy our property. If you don't see your desired activity, please click the "Contact Alan K" button, and we'd be happy to see if we can accommodate you.

Alan has a beautiful property. He was very knowledgeable and accommodating. I would highly recommend his property for an outing.Reviewed by Guest on May 2022
These guys stopped by after hunting out west with no luck, we shared some maps and I told them where we had been seeing some birds, they came out in the dark and both filled by 10:00. Very respectful young men that I enjoyed meeting and they shared they would like to come back.Reviewed by Landowner on May 2022
Alan was absolutely great. We felt like family from the beginning. Even with a minor hiccup we made adjustments and things worked out how they were suppose to. Great people with an awesome property.Reviewed by Guest on May 2022
Had a slight glitch in the booking process but we worked through it, he was very respectful and I would be glad to host him again.Reviewed by Landowner on May 2022

My expectations were met and enjoyed meeting and having conversations with the land owner.I saw plenty of turkeys and lots of deer sign. Had multiple interactions with the birds. I handicapped myself with a crossbow which is the only reason i did not get my long beardReviewed by Guest on May 2022

Yes, Doug arrived and we met and I showed him around, we spotted some turkeys right off and he got started, he was very courteous and respectful. I believe he had a great time as his son and cousin are coming this weekend. Very much enjoyed meeting and visiting with him.Reviewed by Landowner on April 2022
