Whitetail:
Kansas residents can purchase a tag over the counter, but non-residents must apply for tags.
For Whitetail, non-resident sportsmen with 0 pts have a 70% chance of drawing.
Mule Deer:
Kansas residents can purchase an archery tag over the counter, but must apply for
rifle tags.
For rifle, Kansas residents with 0 pts have a 47% chance of drawing.

The textured grasslands have deeper holes that hold water in the mostly dry creek beds, which are spots to key in on for muleys and antelope. I've also seen scaled quail near the pens closer to the house.
