RM3 Wilderness hunts has just opened its beautiful wilderness for hunting this year. It's 1150 acres are made up of diverse terrain, deep creek bottoms, ponds, and amazing views from the hills. This along with the grasslands, woods, and cedar trees provide both incredible food sources and great cover for the large population of whitetail, turkey, and hogs that roam the land. The property has well manicured trails cut through the timber to make navigation very easy. A huge bonus for hunters is that the 160-acres on the South part of the land has not been hunted in 7 years, and the 320-acres to the North in 3 years.

The hunts are semi-guided and include lodging on the premises. Guiding consists of the Guide taking the Hunter to and from the blind or tree stand that the Guide believes will give the Hunter the best opportunity to shoot a quality buck. Guides do not remain at the blind during the hunt. While the Guides may assist the Hunter with field dressing the deer if asked and paid by the Hunter to do so, field dressing the deer is the responsibility of the Hunter.

Mike was great! Showed me around the property and made sure I had what I needed. Cabin is rustic, but right in the middle of the action. Mainly hunted the north section and heard numerous gobbles. Called in several Jake’s, the gobblers seemed to be henned up right now. Fun experience

Mike was an excellent host who made us feel right at home. Mike’s lodging was extremely comfortable and welcoming. He took the time to show me around the property and give me all the information he could to make it a successful hunt. I was fortunate to harvest a bird on my second morning. I had an awesome hunt both days hearing and seeing birds. The property is beautiful and peaceful with tons of wildlife on it. I can’t thank Mike enough for his hospitality and allowing me to cross one more state off. Hoping to get the opportunity to come visit Mike and his property again soon!

Mike is a fantastic host. He certainly went above and beyond what anyone would ever expect from a host. The property is very well maintained. We didn't end up getting a turkey, but were able to get close.

I’m always skeptical about booking hunting trips to new locations but I can tell you this was a good pick! Our flight arrived after midnight and mike waited up to greet us when we got there and made sure we had everything we needed. With only a couple hours sleep he again met us to show us the areas we were going to be hunting. As daylight broke turkeys were gobbling everywhere and within an hour we killed a nice bird and was back at camp. Mike invited us over for probably the best breakfast I’ve ever had and then took us that evening for steaks. Went out to another area the next morning and again had turkeys gobbling everywhere. Mike made us feel at home the whole time and treated us like he had known us forever. Mike is a great guy and host and it would have been worth the trip even if we wouldn’t have killed one. I look forward to making another trip and visiting with mike again soon.

Mike was an excellent guide on our first day showing us the blinds and giving us his knowledge on how the wildlife behaved there. The property was great. Fields, ponds, draws, timber and creeks. Deer numbers are very high and we heard and saw turkeys. Bring plenty of bug spray because the ticks are out in force. The rustic cabin was very clean and had everything we needed to make our food. Thank you again Mike! We appreciate everything you did for us and I’m sure we’ll be back.

I enjoyed having Taylor and his friends at my place. They were respectful, took good care of the property, abided by rules and are clearly good, seasoned hunters. He even helped install a solar panel on my rustic cabin. I would welcome he and his friends back anytime.

Mike was an amazing host as well as an amazing cook! The property is full of stands, feeders, and blinds to help make the hunt as easy as possible. The deer were everywhere! Mike also has game cams up on all the feeders and they have consistently been getting some great bucks on them. I would definitely come back and hunt this property!
